Ultracontextuality

A good building is above all contextual, i.e., made-to-measure for and with the site. It fits perfectly into the landscape, present yet unostentatious. It is designed in relation to existing strong points and it magnifies the site, in a way (transfigures it). The building is judiciously placed in relation to the sun, the wind, and the lie of the land so as to channel solar, wind, and geothermal energies as efficiently as possible. Lastly, it leaves predominant room for vegetation.
