'Nouveaux Paris, la ville et ses possibles', a collective work under the direction of Nicolas Michelin, is the scientific back-up to the exhibition of the same name, held at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal from March 17 to August 21, 2005.
Covering the major themes that were dealt with in the exhibition, the book studies the potential evolution of Paris via sustainable development through contributions from urban development players. Architects, urban planners, landscape designers, research scientists, engineers and jurists take stock, propose solutions or envisage hypotheses for a sustainable future for the city.
The DVD of the prospective scenarios that was screened during the exhibition is included with the book.
