Project managers, architects, urban planners, town councillors and contracting authorities have a big responsibility when it comes to imagining projects that take environmental issues into account. Based on his experience as an architect and urban planner, this need to react led Nicolas Michelin to record his thoughts, comment on examples, recount his adventures and propose new paths. This is not a lecture, it is about shouldering responsibilities, coming up with solutions, finding realistic responses.
In seven chapters he develops the problems raised by the necessary qualities today’s good buildings should have, for a new way of practicing architecture. And why not an different architecture altogether ?
