Chosen by Bordeaux Town Hall for his commitment to architecture that goes with sustainable development, Nicolas Michelin was the chief curator of Agora 2008, assisted by exhibition designer Nathalie Crinière and graphic designer Béatrice Fichet.

The title of Agora 2008, 'Alert!', was a militant call to the general public and the key players in architecture, urban planning and design to stay alert towards finding solutions that are adapted to the problems of urban centres: reinventing housing, imagining public spaces and tackling the major sustainable development issues.
